How we gave back to Community CSR

The development site for Pathein Industrial City occupies eleven small villages scattering throughout the site and interviews were done with representatives from four main villages such as Pauk Kon, Tha Htay Kon, Shan Ywa Gyi and Chaung Zauk during 25-26 November, 2012. As the current villages have no road access, electricity, tap water and health care station, Pathein Industrial City plans to private them with decent houses and infrastructures to help improve their quality of life.

There will be two separate resettlement sites, one in Shan Ywa and the other in Chaung Zauk village. The affected people who lost their home and agricultural lands will be provided with new home land (average 0.1 acre), a new house with sanitary toilet, free of charge infrastructure (pathway, electricity and piped water) and public services such as primary school, a church, a healthcare station, some occupational trainings and scholarships.

As part of our CSR plan, we have made over 70 donations near the surrounding areas of the project plan during 2017 and 2018. We have helped the community with roads and bridges construction, sponsoring their education ceremonies, social welfares and required infrastructure.
